There is a detoxification phase is with in the first nine days of the diet. There are many individuals that will loose several pounds very quickly. This is the strictest of phases that the diet contains, so everything after is easy. During this phase, your body will get rid of the toxins that you have taken in from processed foods and other environmental factors.
During the detoxification phase, you will only be allowed to eat fruits and vegetables. Do not worry, along with those, you can eat oatmeal, egg whites, and small portions of beans.
The next phase is the Foundation Phase. You will then start to add lean meats to your daily diet over a period of three weeks. Then phase three, the Construction Phase will allows you to eat; fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and add; whole grains and cereals. You will even be allowed to eat a restricted diet of sweets!
